I am committed to helping children, adolescents, and adults struggling with anxiety, depression, eating disorders, life transitions, mood disorders, trauma, divorce, and problematic family dynamics. I have a Humanistic approach and also utilize techniques that are largely cognitive-behavioral, experiential, and structural. I also focus on family systems. When working with children & adolescents, I draw from talk, creative play and sand tray therapy. I am trained in EMDR, a technique used to treat PTSD and is also effective in healing many emotional issues. It allows clients to reprocess traumatic experiences and replace negative thoughts, images and feelings connected to these with positive beliefs about who they are and how they show up in their lives.
I love my work because I see people change their self-image and create joy in their lives. I will create a safe and nurturing space for you or your child to heal and grow. It is an honor for me to be a part of your journey to healing and rediscovery.
